Greek Level B continues to develop your communicative competence in Koiné Greek by increasing your vocabulary and strengthening all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Participants discuss both immediate and extended family, as well as the practical task of preparing for a dinner. Connections between such everyday tasks and passages from the New Testament are introduced more regularly. Participants learn about 90 new lexemes in roughly 350 inflected forms and demonstrate a working knowledge of the following grammatical topics: nouns—nominative, genitive, dative, and accusative (sing. & pl.); verbs—present tense indicative (sing. & pl.) and imperatives (act. sing. & pl.), with an increased emphasis on aspectual distinction between present and aorist imperatives; prepositional phrases; definite article (sing. & pl.); adjectives (sing. & pl.); personal pronouns (sing. & pl.); demonstrative pronouns (sing.); numbers.
