Introduction Part Two (available in print or downloadable format)

Part Two, which comes with more than 10 hours of audio material (MP3 files distributed via download), is a kind of “home language lab” appropriate for self-learning from a high school level and higher. It covers the book of Jonah with ten dialogs that parallel the biblical text. More than 300 audio tracks, including substitution drills, vocabulary introduction, dialogs, and readings introduce and reinforce the learning at the speed of speech enabling long-lasting internalization of the language. The Shma (Dt 6:4-9) along with other scripture is memorized.

All Hebrew vocabulary, dialogues, and texts are glossed in English and grammatical explanations are in English. Part Two also contains a full explanation of Biblical Hebrew’s morphology and syntax. As a bonus for discriminating students, there are extensive footnotes throughout that deal with the development of the language and the stylistic functions of Biblical Hebrew structures, many of which are typically only covered in advanced grammar books.

Please note that the downloadable file is registered to a single-user for personal use and is not for distribution.
